Louisiana Office Of Tourism Releases New 2020 Visitors Guide Featuring Lauren Daigle
BATON ROUGE, La. – The U.S. Travel Association recognizes today, January 28, as National Plan for Vacation Day. This day is recognized each year on the last Tuesday in January as a day to encourage Americans to plan their vacations days for the year. To assist with that planning, the Louisiana Office of Tourism (LOT) has released its new 2020 Louisiana Visitors Guide. This year, LOT partnered with celebrity ambassador Lauren Daigle for its vibrant, inspiring cover.
"Lauren Daigle has been an outstanding ambassador for Louisiana and partnering with her has been a truly wonderful experience," said Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser. "Lauren's passion for her home state and all of the unique experiences you can have here is so genuine that you can't help but feel inspired by it. Working with her to share all the ways you can Feed Your Soul in Louisiana has been hugely successful, and very rewarding."
The 2020 Louisiana Visitors Guide provides visitors with details on new attractions and restaurants across the state as well as information about traditional Louisiana foods, Mardi Gras, music, outdoor adventures, and history. Can't-miss experiences across the state are also included, along with detailed listings for accommodations, dining, attractions, and more.
"Our Visitors Guide is a great resource not only for visitors from outside of Louisiana, but for residents looking to take a one-of-a-kind staycation right here in their home state," added Lt. Governor Nungesser. "I'd like to encourage Louisianans to pick up a copy of the guide and take a look – you're guaranteed to learn about something new and unique that you can explore."
