Our Communications team is available to provide assistance and resources to members of the media, including:
- Establishing media credentials
- Planning and arranging itineraries
- Providing introductions and coordinating arrangements with local convention and visitors bureaus
- Assisting in story development and research
- Providing photography
- Fact-checking pieces before publication or broadcast
- Providing field assistance for groups or individuals with special needs or circumstances
To request trip assistance, please complete this form to the best of your ability, then send it to a member of our team. This information will help us determine the appropriate level of assistance, from securing media rates to escorts and complimentary passes.
Please allow a minimum of 45 days' lead time prior to your visit. We understand that sometimes this is not an option, so we will do our best to accommodate you. We evaluate each request on a case-by-case basis, taking into account your story angle, timing, reach and peak times in requested destinations.

The Louisiana Office of Tourism maintains an extensive library of images from across the state. A selection of available images, organized by the state's three regions, can be viewed below. Additional images are available if you have a specific request not included in these galleries.
Once you have selected the images you would like to receive, please contact our team. Please include:
- Name of the inquiring outlet or journalist
- Readership/viewership information
- Filename(s) of the image(s) being requested
- Deadline for receiving requested images (allow for up to 72 hours to fulfill request)
